I relaxed in a large soaking tub after a long day in my room, which also featured a fireplace. Each morning, my coffee arrived at my door at six. I enjoyed a made-to-order breakfast in the courtyard, and I stopped by the dining room for homemade chocolate chip cookies at night. Parking remained easy in the private lot next door throughout my four nights.

Private stalls throughout the building

I utilized the multiple bathrooms during my stay, which kept wait times short for my large group. We prepared meals in the kitchen while congregating in the living room. Since Penn Station sat nearby, I caught a train for a day trip. I parked my car in the dedicated space provided with the building.

Free parking lot behind the inn

I parked my car in the free lot located behind the inn, made navigating downtown Baltimore simple. I walked to the baseball games at Camden Yards from the first floor room while I enjoyed the cookies and brandy that I found in the parlor each evening. Linda served a delicious two-course breakfast every morning in the dining room, which I ate before I explored the local historic landmarks.

Handheld garment steamer inside the room

I used the steamer in my room to smooth out clothing for the event I attended on the Johns Hopkins campus. When I stepped into the lobby at night, I grabbed a cookie from the front desk before heading up to my room. Downstairs at Dear Charles, I had a croque madame and coffee while sitting in the restaurant off the lobby.

Harbor views from the balcony

I enjoyed dinner at the Bygonewith panoramic harbor views from the top level. When I returned to my suite, housekeeping had tidied the room for the second time that day. I also walked along the waterfront jogging track each morning during my visit.

Full laundry machines inside the suite

I appreciated having a full-size washer and dryer inside my room, which came with complimentary soap pods. The apartment-style layout provided plenty of space during my stay, and I enjoyed the water views from my balcony. Private driver for dinner and local tours

Preston drove us to dinner in the complimentary car, pointing out landmarks and local eateries along the way. I sipped champagne after the valet unloaded our luggage and escorted us inside.
